Life Without Plastic – Neat Freezy Cups

I really loathe how plastic (and its harmful chemicals) has infiltrated our lives and food, and I’m always on the lookout for safe sustainable alternatives. When I came across this nifty kitchen device I had to share.

Introducing the Freezycup(TM), by Life Without Plastic, a plastic-free way to prepare healthy homemade popsicles. Each mold cup holds about 100ml of your favourite fruit juice or yogurt and can be frozen individually. No need for a bulky tray. Moreover, each ice lollypop can be left in the cup until it thaws, for a refreshing cold drink.

The Freezycup(TM) comes with 3 reusable bamboo sticks and 2 silicone gaskets (blue and red). The cup and lid are each made of high quality, food grade 18-8 stainless steel, and the gaskets are made of high quality, food grade silicone. These parts have been tested in a third party accredited laboratory to ensure they are lead and phthalate-free in compliance with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (2008) (CPSIA) and the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act (CCPSA).
